Milestones & Timeline

Core Objectives

  • Grow the Game at All Levels – Introduce thousands of youths to hockey through accessible programs, clinics, and partnerships with local schools and recreational leagues.

  • Establish a Hockey Pipeline – Create a direct developmental path from beginner youth programs through competitive tiers, ultimately to junior, AHL, or NHL opportunities.

  • Build a Community-Focused Arena Culture – The facility should become a more integral part of daily life in The Woodlands through initiatives such as skating programs, school partnerships, and enhanced public engagement. Thoughtfully designed architecture can further contribute by creating a significant community destination and cultural landmark. By integrating public space and celebrating historical events within hockey, the building will foster greater engagement between the hockey community, The Woodlands community, and the intersection of commerce and culture.

  • Leverage NHL & AHL Resources – Work with the league to implement best practices from other successful community programs (e.g. “Learn to Play”, “Future Goals”).
